Madison Polidoro holding her work Stanley 2021
Madison Polidoro is a fine artist and fabricator based in Philadelphia. Studying art since her formative years, and working in the fabrication industry for nearly a decade, she has dedicated her life to her expanding body of work, and accumulated an extensive list of fabrication skills. In her work she utilizes welding, forge/hotwork, machining, glassblowing, mold-making, traditional sculpture, painting, woodworking, kinetic sculpture, and more.
At the heart of her practice lies a fascination with the human form. Drawing on elements of the body, the uncanny, and a sense cuteness, Madison creates fragmented, surreal figures and scenarios where the boundaries between organic and synthetic, beautiful and grotesque, dissolve. Using the body as a conduit, she navigates emotional landscapes that are simultaneously familiar and strange. Her work invites viewers to confront the contradictions of existence, offering a space where a playful sense of wonder and an overlooming discomfort coexist in haunting harmony.

Madison entered the workforce post grad working as a glassblower and a metal fabricator until 2020. When the pandemic struck, it was an opportunity to revisit the idea of being a full time artist. She began marketing 10 Ton Fetus into what is today. Madison sells individually crafted sculptures, creates custom commissioned sculptures, and sells prints and other products derived from her art practice. Madison’s next goal is to complete a cohesive body of large scale sculpture to show in public art spaces.
